Bring Florida History to Life!

An Invitation to Florida’s Educators & Tutors, Homeschool Families & Co-op Groups

Step beyond the textbook and immerse your students in Florida’s past at the Annual Florida Living History Festival at Fort Christmas Historical Park. Hosted by Orange County Parks & Recreation in partnership with the Fort Christmas Historical Society, this exciting educational event offers an unforgettable opportunity for students to experience history where it happened.

For years, the festival has inspired thousands of students through authentic living history presentations. Under the direction of renowned historical reenactor Jim Sawgrass, whose decades of experience have made him a respected leader in educational reenactments throughout the Southeastern United States, this year’s event promises another exceptional hands-on learning experience.
