Board of Directors & Membership Dinner Meeting October

It is a time to get together, update your membership information, bring family members or friends that would like to join, and find out all the goings on within the Fort Christmas Historical Society. We will have a short Board Meeting at 6pm before we eat. We are excited to share news of our upcoming events.

We will have a special presentation with John & Mary Lou Missall. The title of this talk is “The First Seminole War and More.”  Before getting into the 2nd War proper, we’ll look at Seminole genesis, Black Seminoles, efforts by the US to acquire Florida, the Creek War, and the Negro Fort. The public are invited to this free event with plenty of parking.
